View Screen Shots and Documentation. F.A.Q.: Q: I downloaded the free version and was wondering if I buy the software will I have to reenter all the info I have already put in. Or will it already be there? A: Yes, your data will still be there when you upgrade and you will be able to delete the sample records. Q: How do I handle refusals and feeder inventory? A: If you have an animal refuse and you feed the item to another animal, simply put a zero in the feed qty, and feed cost fields for the feed activity. That way, inventory is not affected and it will record properly to inventory when you post the feed for the animal that actually ate it. Q: How do I handle regurges? A: For a regruge, there are two possibilities. You can enter the feed and then go back and flag it a regurge and put the regurge date in the comments or you can enter the regurge as is own activity with it's own date. Q: Is the animal ID number important? Should I use the default or assign my own? A: This is entirely up to you. If you are not a breeder, you may just want to make the animal's ID the same as it's name. Q: How does the licensing work: A: You will receive your full copy of the program after you have submitted payment and will be notified of updates via email Rack Ops Instructions: Enter the Rack Ops screen. Use the file menu to create a new rack name. Enter the number of columns and rows of tubs in the rack and click create rack. Right click on a tub to enter an animal. To feed an entire rack, click select all. If you have omissions, just right click on that tub and unselect it. Click prep feedings. This will populate the feedings just like the activity screen does. You will notice the tubs turn red or green depending of if they are being fed. You can also right click on the tub and edit the feeding info. Once you are ready, click post the feedings. |
