| A new cage for a new year. This project will be a permanent, to the wall build for my retic. This is also my office an the entire room will be remodeled as part of this process. This is the framing work for the base and cage. As usual, I am building out of my head as I go along. This is truely going to be a ground up project. Sink getting roughed in.
Floor base with open area for vent in concrete floor.
Getting vertical now.
Base frame established.
Stress testing competed.
Cage frame starting. I'm opting to create a clean box interior for this cage without having too much waste in the walls so I am cutting in a lot on this part. What a pain, but worth the time. The left wall will be the only place I lose space and it will only be 1 1/2 inch.
After much debate on what the heck I was doing next, I finally started cutting again.
Big progress.
Fly outs for ceiling support cut and installed but not secured. I have HDPE on order that will be cut and installed prior to the ceiling being secured. I actually used my brain on that one. Still have the litter dam and door frames to get in. Maybe tomorrow.
